This lot consists of a hand drawn ink illustration on paper, hand-signed "Picasso" and dated "le 31 Juillet 1953", with the location of "Vallauris" (a town on the southern coast of France, between Cannes and Nice, where Picasso had a studio for years). Image depicts the suspended head of a minotaur-like character, with a voluminous goatee, curls adorning his head, and two curved horns protruding from above his eyes. Done in the modern style of the highly prolific Pablo Picasso (Spanish, 1881-1973). This unframed piece measures approximately 6.75" x 8.75".
