This lot consists of a hand drawn mixed media (ink and watercolor) illustration on Studio 54 letterhead, hand signed "Andy Warhol". Image depicts a brilliant purple rooster with exaggerated tail-feathers and a spring in his step. Done on paper that bears the logo and address of famed New York nightclub, Studio 54, which was frequented during the 1970s and -80s by the likes of Mick Jagger, Lou Reed, Salvador Dali, and, of course, the great Pop artist, Andy Warhol (American, 1928-1987). Unframed piece measures approximately 8.25" x 12.25".
