This lot consists of a hand drawn charcoal/graphite on paper, hand signed "Degas" to the lower right of the image. Image depicts a standing ballerina with her eyes closed. Her posture and contented silence exude strength and curiosity. Piece is elegantly executed in the Impressionist style of Edgar Degas (French, 1834 -1917). Overall good condition with the usual signs of age and wear. Unframed work measures approximately 13.5"x 10.5".
