Al Hirschfeld (1903 - 2003, American) - "Abe Hirschfeld and Friends" caricature commissioned by Abe Hirschfeld in 1988. The image shows Abe and Zipora Hirschfeld surrounded by Shirley MacLaine, Luciano Pavarotti, Michael Jackson, Jackie Mason, Anthony Quinn, Donald Trump, Barbra Streisand, Carol Channing, Jackie Onassis, Jackie Gleason, Elvis Presley, and Marilyn Monroe. The work of art is signed in print in the lower right with the number "3" signifying that the name "Nina" is hidden in the caricature in 3 places. Article by Richard Johnson for "Page Six" 4/11/17 --Abe Hirschfeld, real estate developer who ran for countless NYC political offices and briefly owned The Post predicted in 1988 that Donald Trump would become president, and he put it in writing. Abe commissioned caricaturist Al Hirschfeld, whom Abe jokingly called his cousin, to make a drawing of himself surrounded by such celebrities as Elvis Presley, Marilyn Monroe, Michael Jackson, Barbra Streisand, Jackie Kennedy — and Trump. Hirschfeld's daughter, Rachel, told me, "Dad then gave a poster of the work of art to Donald, and inscribed it 'To my dear friend Donald, the next great president of the USÃ.'
