Rolland (Romain, French dramatist and novelist, friend of Sigmund Freud, 1866-1944) Autograph Letter signed to "Cher Monsieur", 2pp., 8vo, n.p., 6th July 1924, giving his reaction to Raymond Radiguet's second novel, Le Bal du comte d'Orgel, "a masterpiece, a masterpiece in the antique professional sense...", folds; and a small quantity of others, including an ALs from Fred Bardnard (illustrator of Dickens) and another ALs from Jules Michelet, an illustrated leaf from an Arabic manuscript etc., v.s., v.d.
