Provenance: Ex-collection Mr. & Mrs. Donald Reuter, Stinson Beach, California, possibly acquired directly from the artist. [The Reuters were avid collectors of Chinese and Japanese artworks, including those by Jiro Yoshihara, Tsuguharu Foujita, and Kazuo Shiraga.] Acquired from Mr. & Mrs. Reuter by the present owner, circa 1990's.
