Very nice looking. As viewed under UV light in the unopened frame: probably at least c. 8-10% overpainting or more (can't tell the exact amount - also turns partially green under UV light and the UV light is not penetrating the varnish completely); c. 3" x 4 1/4" patch in the upper center where the horses head and the upper torso of the dragoon is - fluorescence showing in the horse and the bottom left for sure - other areas appear to be restored under room light; horse's legs appear to be at least partially skinned; remnants of craquelure and stretcher bar cracking of the paint; canvas rolling in the LL and needs to be restretched; not lined; original stretchers; antique gilt frame with cracks and very slight wear.
