The Sunday auction begins with pieces from several prominent collections featuring oil paintings by: Pierre Bittar, George Gardner Symons, William James Glackens, Andre Gisson, Alfred Henri Bramtot, Heywood Hardy, Joseph Watter, Ray Frost Fleming, Bernard Lorjou, Robert William Wood, Joseph Watter, also works attributed to Robert Kidd (woven textile), Franz Kline (oil), Gian Battista Castello (16th c. ink on paper), Guiseppe Nogari and Pieter Nolpe (17th c. oil). Additionally from the estates are German KPM painted porcelain plaques, Russian icons, as well as an extensive graphics collection including, but not limited to: Joan Miró, Erté, Berenice Abbott, Salvador Dalí, and Japanese woodblock prints. Bronze sculptures featuring: J. Labeaux, Alexandre Kelety and two life-size standing stag garden sculptures. A Louis Comfort Tiffany favrile vessel rounds out the offerings. Important unique artwork by artists from other consignments include: Myron Barlow, Charles Burchfield, Kim Sou, Johann Baptist Hofner, David Einstein, Yaacov Agam, Itzchak Tarkay, Robert Natkin, Raphael Soyer, James Alexander Walker, Charles Michel-Ange Challe, James Antoine Vallin, Camille Pissaro, Gulbrand Sether, Bill Mack, Junichiro Sekino, Svetlana Ostrovskaya, Vyacheslav Mikhailov, Will Wolter, Johann Christian Brand, Valery Moshkin, and Robert Maniscalco. Closing out the fine arts highlights is a suite of fifteen lithographic on paper by Joan Miró in 1971. Rounding out the Sunday features are collections of fine jewelry, Persian rugs, French decorative arts and furniture as well as oriental decorative arts.
