Large Thai Silver Repousse Figure of Buddha
Ayutthaya period, fourth quarter 19th century, the worked silver sectional sheets modeled to depict a figure standing in samabhanga, with both hands raised, palms facing outward, wearing traditional robes, the whole mounted on custom plinth base.

Condition
In overall good condition. Both arms have been repaired at the elbow/seams with visible cracks and
separation. The right foot has been repaired. There is a small crack to the silver on the back of the head,
and there are two small chips to the right foot and ankle. The self-base has scattered nicks to its edges
and there is a chip to the right corner of the pedestal.
