Description
An Egyptian bronze Osiris fragment and coin of Marcus Aurelius. The bust of Osiris dates from the Late Period, c. 664 - 332 BC, and the Diobol of Marcus Aurelius, AD 161 - 180, was struck in Alexandria, Egypt, and features a galley in full sail on the reverse. Osiris: 2.8 cm in height, Coin: 25mm in diameter, 10.43g. Ex Southern California private collection.
