Description

DESCRIPTION: Victorian photograph stand album with red velvet cover with applied tin bust of a stag containing forty-four photographs. Includes cabinet cards and tintypes. Of note are numerous images of babies and children and family portraits. Stand includes pull-out drawer stamped "Patented May 4th, 1880" and "Patented June 19th, 1888". Drawer contents include photo tag of the Lyken Drill Team, C.H. Snively of Millersburg, PA cabinet card portrait of a woman, and newpaper article cut out of the New Lyken and Wiconsico Opera Company. MEASUREMENTS: Album 10-1/2" x 7" x 11-1/2". CONDITION: Light wear to album. Images overall very good. Tintypes with light wear.
