Roman, Imperial Period, ca. 1st to 3rd century CE. Five heavy bronze rings, four with deep red carnelian intaglios, and one with a paler, salmon colored carnelian intaglio. One depicts the head of a horse; two others appear to depict altars or architectural features; one depicts a standing human figure; and one depicts what looks like a bird track or branch. The band of each ring is wide and thick, ovoid in shape, at the shoulders before tapering to be narrow at the opposite side of the shoulders. Size of largest (though all are very similar in size): 0.8" W (2 cm); wearable rings are US size: 4.5, 2, 3.45 (the other two are too bent to be wearable).

Intaglios have some light scratching commensurate with age but motifs are very clear. Three of them are wearable, but the other two are too bent to be worn. Of those two, one has a small break at its narrowest point and another is very delicate at its narrowest point.
