A PAIR OF IZNIK REVIVAL CERAMIC CANDLESTICKS BY ISMAIL YIGIT, KUTAHYA, TURKEY, 20TH CENTURY, the pair of fritware candlesticks are based on a pair (circa 1525-1535) in the collection of The Metropolitan Museum of Art, New York, the form derived from Seljuk period metal ware with waisted drum base and shaped nozzle, underglaze blue floral and leaf decoration, signed to the bottom, "Ismail Yigit," "KUTAHYA 632." Height: 8 1/4" Diameter: 6"
