ENGLISH STAFFORDSHIRE CERAMIC COUPLE FIGURES, LOT OF TWO comprising a 10 1/8" HOA figure couple, decorated in the round, seated on a molded brown and green stump base, the woman having a basket of flowers on her right side and her left arm around the gentleman seated below, who is offering her a red flower and a 14 1/2" HOA flatback figure couple standing on an oval base, the man holding a jug in his right hand, and the woman holding a basket of flowers in her left hand. Second half 19th century.
Standing figures undamaged, except some loss of gilded decoration; seated figures with some losses to enamel decoration, with chips and losses to floral elements. Both with moderate crazing.
