Very striking Folk Art geometric wool quilt

Item Details

Description

This is a very striking geometric wool quilt. It is a one patch, pieced into a log cabin variation and tied with green cord. The back is plaid cotton flannel, wrapped around to the front as a binding. Black fabric sleeves have been added to the back, so it is ready to hang either vertically or horizontally. It looks striking on the wall. The quilt measures 68" by 79", from the first half of the 20th c. It is in excellent condition, with two very small moth holes, and an approximately 1" long repair in the black by the border.
