Born in Paris 1922 to American parents, he lived most of his life in New York, where he died in 2002. He spent some interim years in Mexico during the 1950Õs. His paintings were striking elongated figures representing a new movement in figural painting. His career as an international Interior designer offered him commissions by Hilton Hotels to design interiors for many or their new hotel locations.
