Description
PRESSED CAVALIER POMADE JAR, translucent alabaster/clambroth, embossed "E. T. S & Co. / NY" under base, crown of hat and plume form cover. Boston & Sandwich Glass Co. 1865-1868, when perfumer Edward T. Smith was in business. 3 7/8" HOA, 1 7/8" D rim.
Very good condition overall with some scattered flaking to the cover, especially to the edge, base with some chipping to the hat rim, with one being sizeable, sliver chip to the table ring.
