Description
PRESSED CAVALIER POMADE JAR, deep fiery opalescent, embossed "E . T . S & Co / NY" under base, crown of hat and plume form cover. Boston & Sandwich Glass Co. 1865-1868, when perfumer Edward T. Smith was in business. 4" HOA.
Near proof, base with only a single small chip to the rim and a 1/2" annealing check off the rim, as made, cover with a shallow chip and minor flakes under the rim.
