Description
PRESSED PUNTY AND ELLIPSE / MONROE (OMN) SPOON / SPILL HOLDER, fiery opalescent, hexagonal bowl raised on a circular foot with a polished pontil mark. Boston & Sandwich Glass Co. and Pittsburgh region. 1850-1870. 5 1/8" H, 3 3/4" DOA rim, 2 7/8" D base.
Excellent condition overall with a single sliver chip to the edge of the foot. Networks of light refracting annealing lines, as made.
