Description
An Egyptian faience overseer or 'Reis' ushabti, 3rd Intermediate Period, 21st Dynasty, c. 1080 - 945 BC, wearing tripartite headdress and characteristic kilt and triangular apron of everyday life, arms folded across chest, hands holding implements, basket on back. H: 4 in (10.1cm). Ex Wiltshire, England private collection.
