Description
Pre-Colombian Quimbaya culture (Colombia, 100 BC - 700 CE). Seated slab figure with slit eyes and mouth, hands resting on knees, small tumbaga nose ring. Incisions are fairly typical for this kind of retablo and were often found on shoulders, wrists, and above the knee and ankle. Measures 7.25 x 5.75 inches.

Shows repair to right arm and left leg.
