Paper covers, staple bound. The Navy form number on the rear cover shows a date of March 7, 1950. Armstrong reported to Pensacola Naval Air Station with flight training with class 5-49. He soloed on September 9, 1949 and made his first carrier landing on March 2, 1950. His graduation marked the beginning of an aviation career that remains unsurpassed to this day. Some scattered areas of light toning, otherwise excellent. This lot will include a Statement of Provenance signed by Neil Armstrong's sons, Rick and Mark.
