Description
Charming N.Y. town scene, about 1925-30, an oil on fiberboard. It is not signed, it has the name and title on the back, March Storm, F. Usher Devoll., There is such an artist, I find him in my way too old books, but with no pictures. Attributed to him and looks like the work of a number of American regional artists, it just looks better and better the longer you see it. Blizzard like day, people huddled in doorways, nice thing, brings back memories. The painting size is 21 1/2" x 14 3/4" and in fine untouched condition. No reserve.
