Period paneled sheep boards with scuffs and wear, sympathetically rebacked. Contents with faded water-staining, some marginal tears/chips and three chips removing (or partially removing) several words of text, paper repair to inner/upper corner of title. Overall Good. A unique copy with 18th c. ink notes to title, front pastedown and blanks, and several manuscript slips bound within the text. ***************************** A resetting, page for page, of the 1605 fourth edition, omitting Hugh Sanford’s preface.
