Elvis Presley's Personally Owned Ted Williams 12 Gauge Shotgun Used for Skeet Shooting at Circle G Ranch W/Letters From Billy Smith & Elvis Museum (Displayed for Over 30 Years) - This Ted Williams 12 gauge pump action shotgun was purchased by Elvis Presley at the Southland Mall Sears in Memphis, Tennessee in 1967, and was used for skeet shooting at Elvis' beloved Circle G Ranch. Elvis purchased the ranch in the 1960s as a getaway that would still be near Graceland, and after he and Priscilla married, they even spent part of their honeymoon there. In April 1967 when filming for the film "Clambake" was paused, Elvis was able to spend three straight weeks on the ranch, and it has been argued that that Spring was one of the happiest times of his life. This shotgun was later given to Elvis' best friend and cousin Billy Smith, who kept it in his collection until 1981. The shotgun was then acquired by collector Mike L. Moon and exhibited at his Elvis Museums for over 30 years. This is a wonderful opportunity to own a true piece of the King, used during what were arguably some of the most enjoyed times of his life. The shotgun will come housed in a protective hard case, and will be accompanied by two letters of authenticity/provenance.
