Vintage early turn of the century art deco or art nouveau figural lamp made of "Spelter" or a manufactured metal that could include a zinc alloy or equal parts of a zinc alloy and copper for casting figural decorations. This working turn of the century lamp is both a functional and a decorative piece for the home. The figural piece is named "Love Meets" and is a design that shows a couple meeting in front of a building with the gentleman bowing to the young lady. The couple is dressed in either "Georgian" or "Colonial" style clothing. There are two love birds prominently located just beneath them. The condition of the lamp overall is excellent with the lamp shade near mint with one chips on the underside, no other cracks or other imperfections. The figural body of the lamp has two slightly worn areas but does not detract from the beauty of this artistic piece which otherwise has no cracks, chips or imperfections. The lamp measures 15 ½" total height with a base width of 4" and 8 ¼" long.
