Measurements: 7.75" x 11.75" sight size, and 13.5" x 17.5" x 1" overall.
Condition: Good condition overall. Some toning to paper consistent with age.
Notes: Initialed on the front and signed on the back, and marked verso 'Santo Domingo', 'The Studio, Indian School, Santa Fe'.
Provenance: From a San Francisco Bay Area estate.
About the artist: Leo Reano, (Navajo 1922-1971), was an artist, teacher and interpreter from the Santo Domingo Pueblo. Reano served on the All Indian Pueblo Council and the NEA Council of Human Relations. Reano dedicated his life to securing educational opportunities for all American Indians.
