Description
American (Pennsylvania), 19th century. A group of six redware dishes of varying size, including three with yellow slip-trailed decoration; largest dia. 10.5 in.
Provenance: Property from the Hermann Gleeson Collection of Americana, San Antonio, Texas
Condition
All with chips to rims. One slip-trailed with large chip to rim. Smaller slip-trailed bowl with cracks. Plain red bowl with large flake and cracks to underside and pitting to surface. Both larger slip-trailed bowls with flakes and paint loss to surface.
