There are some minor nicks and scratches to the wood from use, mainly at the edges. The veneer at the center panel has some areas of cracking and loss. The largest area of loss measures approx. 1" x 1/4". Overall, good used condition. The width of the headboard is 90". But this originally was made for a double size mattress. If you look at the very bottom of the photo, at the two inner legs. You will see a slot in each inner leg. This is where the original side boards would have been placed. These slots measure approx. 55" apart from each other. And the width of a double mattress is 54" We do not have the side boards or a bed frame with this. At the back of the headboard, you can see that the two side panels were modified from the original foot board. The footboard was cut and the two side panels are part of the footboard. TW 10-5-18
