Description
A GEORGE III STYLE MAHOGANY AND BRASS TWO-TIER DUMBWAITER, IN PART LATE NINETEENTH CENTURY, the two circular tray form tiers with carved reeded border joined by three cast and polished brass columns, raised on a turned and carved baluster form standard and splayed tripod legs with brass caps and casters, tier stamped "9051," both tiers diameter: 24 1/8". Height: 43 7/8" Diameter: 27 3/4"
Condition
In overall fair to good condition, with staining to the top of the lower tier, casters are later replacements, wrought iron bracing to underside of legs. The upper tier and columns are of later date than the rest of the piece.
