Description
A LATE QING DYNASTY (1644-1912) BRONZE, YELLOW JADE AND HORN SNUFF BOTTLE, CHINESE, GUANGXU PERIOD (1875-1908), the cabochon, translucent canary yellow jade set in a bronze rope twist bezel, over long neck carved with leaves, above a circular body carved in the round, in relief of five figures among leafy bamboo stalks, rocks, a pine tree, a cherry blossom tree, and cattails, raised on an oval foot, the side carved with a four character Kangxi style mark. Height: 3 3/4" Width: 2 1/2" Depth: 1 3/8"
Condition
Some surface wear, mild chips, patina, a small surface crack on jade, but otherwise in very good condition, wear commensurate with age.
