AN EARLY ISLAMIC MOLD BLOWN BLUE GREEN GLASS BOTTLE, 7TH/12TH CENTURY AD, the cut mouth over a cylindrical neck, above a cylindrical body with repeating circular motif pattern, with a clear acrylic base. Height: 3 1/4" Diameter: 2" Provenance: Estate of Laura Gerow Bramlette, heiress of Morton D. May and the Mays Department Store fortune.
Condition
Various cracks, repairs, dark brown glue residue, encrustation, iridescent patina throughout, general surface wear, but overall in fair to good condition, wear commensurate with age and use.
