This agile dancerperforms an unforgettable dance, one that Chiparus has decided tocapture for life. Here she is shown kneeling on one knee while herother leg is straight out in front of her. She leans back using herone arm to support her as her other arm gracefully falls back aroundher head. By extending her arm and leg it elongates her body and opensher bodice to give the Sculpture more dimensions. She wears a leotardwhich is skin tight against her upper body and her skirt has slights exposing her thighs. Her belt is thick and accentuates her waist asit rests against her dress. She has beads that string across her neckand she wears bangles on her wrists. She wears a headpiece thatmatches her ensemble and is adorned with intricate beads.
