Description
A Minton majolica Crystal Palace Art Union Christmas pudding tray. circa 1859. Circular shaped tray with pierced border of berries, holly leaves, four panels filled with putti. One catching a goose, one cooking a boar, one warmingby a fireplace, one raising a glass and leaning on a shield marked "Crystal Palace Art Union". an English Tudor rose and mistletoe decorate the center of the tray. Marked on back. 16".
