Early to Mid 19th Century school masters desk constructed of walnut with poplar secondaries, having a slant front lifting to a fitted interior with a sliding compartment, all resting on an earlier stand with a single drawer and Sheraton legs. In overall good condition consistent with age and use. Desk measures 12â€ high, 27-1/2â€ wide, and 22-1/2â€ deep. Stand measures 26â€ high, 28-3/8â€ wide, and 22â€ deep. All measurements are approximate.
