Seger, Ernst (German 1868 - 1939), Empire Style Dancer, carved alabaster on an onyx base, 7.25 inches tall, with signature inscribed on onyx base, Ernst Seger worked in the atelier of Auguste Rodin (1840-1917) in Paris after his studies at the art school in Wroclaw and then opened his own studio in Berlin in 1894. Provenance: The Estate of Hannah Kamin, Pittsburgh, Pa.

in good condition apart from one of the figures fingers was broken and several extremities are loose
