Petite Bebe with red stamp on back of head "DEPOSE TETE JUMEAU 2". She is on the original fully-jointed French wood and composition body, unmarked, with original patina with typical slight age wear. There is no mark on the body. She has a closed mouth with red lips, blue paperweight eyes, evenly arched multi-stroke eyebrows, tiny eyelashes, and pierced ears. The wig is a very well-made curly mohair wig and sits over a French hard composition pate. The dress is a nicely re-made white cotton and cutwork dress with a big bib collar, inserted red ribbon at waist and left shoulder. The undergarments, socks and shoes all appear to be old, with the shoes stamped "2" and "RB" in a circle on the sole. Slight chip at neck socket. Bisque is relatively smooth with slight dust at far head and side of nose with a slight loss of color at the nose tip. Condition: (Very Good). Dimensions: 11" T.
