Description
A large Roman yellow-green glass bottle, c. 3rd - 4th Century AD, the rounded body adorned with twisted ribbing, thickest where it nears the base of the neck which itself tapers to a widely flared mouth with inward folded rim. H: 7 1/2 in (18.2 cm). A large and attractive example with adhering silicate deposits. Ex Malter Galleries, CA.
