AESTHETIC MOVEMENT CAST-IRON JEWEL CHEST, hinged dome-top with brass handle, original hasp and two hinged vertical straps, detailed floral panels between the molded straps. Excellent original surface. Fourth quarter 19th century. 5 3/4" H, 8 1/4" x 4 1/2".
Excellent visual condition, one horizontal strap that fits under the hasp detached, other strap absent, no other damage.
Provenance: From the Carlton Cotting estate collection, Vienna, VA.
