Description

Circa 1880's Aesthetic Movement tall chest with gallery and drop front desk. Japonesque brass hardware. Quartersawn oak interior. Note decoration at sides. Very well made. Dimensions are 63" high by 32" wide and 22" deep. CONDITION: Very good with some imperfections. Expect to see a host of scratches here and there. Second to lowest drawer with multiple brown paint splotches at face. One escutcheon loose and one missing. Lastly, drop front panel fabric very clean; however, keepers are not attached but included. Currently the drop lid can be supported by the drawer underneath as shown in images.
