Description
Fine Victorian Aesthetic Movement mahogany block front secretary bookcase. Top spool gallery, crown molding, ribbon & vine carving. Center block section with upper panel bookcase over drop lid desk section with fitted interior all over drawer and double doors with multi-raised panels. Side bookcase sections with double arched upper section with mirror back over three adjustable shelves and lower drawer. 80" wide, 88" high, 18" deep. Originally this bookcase came from the home of University of Vermont Professor Julian Ira Lindsay. He was said to have acquired the bookcase from the Wells Richardson offices in Burlington, VT.
