U.S. ARMY AIR CORP WORLD WAR II / WW2 ARTICLES, LOT OF 31, items used by Tom Sternau during World War II, including a U.S. Army Air Corp Air Medal with oak leaf cluster in labeled "AIR MEDAL" case, a sterling silver U.S. Army Air Corp Aerial Gunner Badge, marked "STERLING", a weatherproofed pouch labeled "MAPS ONLY" and map designation "C/D" and "E/F", with corresponding silk folding double-sided maps, and additional map "43K" showing northern Spain; two miniature button escape/survival compasses; and five U.S. Army Air Corp Eighth Air Force uniform articles, including a wool flight jacket with Eighth Air Force patch, a dress uniform jacket with pants, having Eighth A.F. patch and staff sergeant bars, and a khaki jacket with Eighth A.F. patch and staff sergeant bars. Circa 1944. Various sizes.
Very good condition overall, maps with some creases from irregular folding, pouch with a single tear to top edge, some discoloration to Air Medal service ribbon.
