Description
Kotozuka Eiichi (1906-1982) was born in Osaka in 1906 and studied at Kyoto City Specialist School of Painting. He made several series of famous landmarks in the Kyoto area, and flower prints that were published by Unsodo and Uchida. In 1948 he was among the founders of Koryokusha company with Tomikichiro Tokuriki, Kamei Tobei and Takahashi Tasaburo. Koryokusha was founded to support sosaku hanga prints with money earned by the shin hanga print activities of Tokuriki Tomikichiro.
