Description
Hasegawa Sadanobu I (1809-1879) was active from 1834 to 1879. He was trained first under a Shijo painter, then possibly with Utagawa Kunisada. He was a prolific artist by the standards of the Osaka publishing industry and had designed over 200 actor prints (yakusha-e).
