DIETZ NO. 866 SUN MINIATURE FINGER LAMP, colorless, applied handle, No. 1 fine-line collar. Fitted with a double-tube brass and sheet-iron whale oil burner. Dietz & Co. Third quarter 19th century. 2 1/4" H to top of collar, 2 1/2" D base.
Undamaged lamp. Burner tubes with losses and significant rust.

Provenance: From the 50-plus year collection of the late Joan M. Wentz, Germansville, PA.
