Pair of Napoleon III Ebonized and Marble-Top Cabinets

late 19th century, each with a rectangular marble top with a molded edge, above a conforming case fitted with an ormolu foliate-applied frieze over a single cupboard door, inset with polychrome and incised figural Orientalist landscapes, raised on bracket feet.

**Both in very good polished and restored condition, with minor shrinkage, wear and small scuffs and chips.

Both tight and solid. Both doors open freely. Interior with two shelves. Shrinkage to interior rear panels. Locks present; keys are not.

Marble tops in very good condition; may be later replacements.

Three is veneer loss on the outside edge of one case, about 1" by 3". There are several small veneer flakes on the inside edges of pilasters.

There is about 3" of lifted brass stringing on the side of one cabinet.
