A Chinese ink calligraphy and painting on paper describing an ancient bronze censor. There are 4 seals on the paper. It is mounted on a silk backing.
Dimensions are: 28 inches tall X 10 inches wide. All measurements are approximate.
Condition: The piece has creasing, worm holes, small tears, and tears in the backing.
Provenance: From the estate of Eulalio Carrera Lowe, first Panamanian Consul General in Guangzhou, China; then in Hong Kong and Macau in 1940s and 1950s.
