Description
A Chinese Imperial doucai porcelain plate with a 6-character Kangxi mark on the bottom and of the period. The interior is decorated with 2 birds in a flowering tree, while the exterior has a flowering tree and leaves pattern repeated twice.
Dimensions are: 1 1/2 inches tall X 6 1/7 inches wide. All measurements are approximate.
Condition: It is in overall good condition though a chip has been sanded out of the rim.
Provenance: From a Northwest U.S. collector. Her parents accumulated the collection while living in Shanghai from the 1930s to 1950s and in Hong Kong and Taiwan in the 1950s and 1960s.
