Native American, Alaska / Northern Canada, Inuit or Yupik, ca. 19th to early 20th century CE. A hand-made wood set of snow goggles, made to combat snow blindness when outdoors in the Arctic. A very thin slit in the center allowed only a small amount of light to penetrate to the wearer's eyes.
