This lot consists of a hand-signed fine art print on paper, numbered "310/500" at left and signed "Dali" at right. Image depicts a detailed, fancily-clad medieval character, who grins widely from beneath a feathered cap. This fairytale man holds a sword and a satchel in one hand, while his other arm extends to support a plumed bird. Below the curious main character, the ground, we soon notice, is the back of a nude, winged woman. Small rushes grow from the base of her wings. She bears a crown on her down-turned head as she sails, seemingly asleep, into green oblivion. At last, the viewer’s eye falls upon a circular head floating at the top right. What could pass for a moon or a sun is actually a short-haired male figure, with eyes that greatly resemble those of our flying earth-woman. A deeply intriguing piece of Surrealist art, done in the style of Salvador Dali (Spanish, 1904-1989). Piece measures approximately 8.25" x 11.75".
